Map Pedometer - How far did you go?

I have run into a mapping error in Toronto. Windermere Ave. continues south from The Queensway under two bridges to Lakeshore Ave. The bridges are quite wide, one a railroad bridge and the other the Gardener Expressway. Map Pedometer will not let me walk under the bridges even though it is very safe...

The size of the map on the home page has been shrunk almost to the point of being unusable. What happened? Is this in conjunction with the much larger ad space that has been added above the map? I may need to find another map product.
