Re: Unable to route to selected point
We are sorry for the difficulty. One of our service providers was having intermittent service issues for certain routing modes on June 15 and June 16. That problem has now been corrected and you should not receive that error any more. long time user of the map, when on the Run/Walk option, I cannot ...

Re: New Feature Requests
No, Map Pedometer wasn't designed to measure areas within a walking area. You could use the Straight Line mapping mode to get distances between points on your farm. You would have to do some math on your own to compute the area. Hi! I want to map out areas of our family farm by walking around the pe...

Re: Irvine, California?
Thank you for letting us know about this problem. The left map should show be centered to show all of your saved routes. The problem has just been corrected. I have entered several of my routes and it's working fine. But the left window on the "My Routes" page continues to open centered on...

Re: GPX import
Sorry, but we don't currently have a GPX import feature. The GPX export feature was recently added to Map Pedometer. We plan on implementing GPX import as well. Looking through the forum I found comment that the ability to both import and export gpx files was under development. Export of tracks in g...

Re: New Feature Requests
Timestamps on individual locations are typically for points that were gathered in real-time from a GPS device. We could add the same timestamp to each point. But, some systems which use the imported file may not handle that well since they may calculate speed from the timestamps. Please email a smal...

The GPX download file is for users that want to import their route to other devices. If you have a device such as a Garmin smart watch, please consult the documentation for your specific device.

On the Activity Log page https://www.mappedometer.com/log/activitylog.php , you can use the comments field to list all of route segments included in your daily activity. There is a field for the total time of your activity. Currently, you can only specify a single route on the activity page in the r...

Re: reviewing route
We don't have that feature right now. Thank you for the suggestion. We will consider adding that feature to the home page. After I create and save a route, I find it difficult to pan with the mouse without unintentionally adding additional points to the route. Is there a way to exit the route edit m...
