Why doesn't the software show walking paths?

Map Pedometer uses Google Maps to display maps. Many walking paths are included by Google Maps. If you would like to create a route over a walking path that Google Maps doesn't show, you can switch to the "Straight line" mapping method. Click on the option button next to "Straight line" to start the Straight Line mode. Routes segments created while in "Straight line" mode will follow the exact path that you select. You can freely switch between routing modes, Run/Walk, Cycle, Drive, and Straight Line while creating your route.
