Unable to route to selected point

long time user of the map, when on the Run/Walk option, I cannot create a route. I can on the other three. even if I start on Cycle and move back to run/walk, the error will pop up, "Unable to route to selected point."
used the site last week with no errors.
using Chrome, restarted, rebooted, cleared cache, no luck

We are sorry for the difficulty. One of our service providers was having intermittent service issues for certain routing modes on June 15 and June 16. That problem has now been corrected and you should not receive that error any more.

I have the same problem. This error message appears whenever I try to map a route.

As of 6/21 I am also still encountering this issue. Working around it by selecting cycling as my activity. Just wanted to ensure the issue was still known.
