viewing a shared, ride how do I

My son on the west coast sent me a ride he wants to share so I registered, logged on and tried to search for his ride as sent in an e-mail link. Can I view his ride here on the east coast?

To view the route, enter the route number on the home page in the "Route #" text box. Then click on the "Load route" button. The saved route will be displayed.
If you received a route link created on the Map Pedometer website, the link will look like this:
http://www.mappedometer.com/?maproute=99999
The route number is part of the link. Clicking on the link will automatically load the saved map route.
