Routing straight between points, not following roads

Placing points on the map is extremely chaotic. The map adds points and does not follow my clicked locations. I don't want it to follow roads, I want it to follow the points I click.

If you want to route directly between points you click, select the "Straight line" routing mode. You can do that by selecting the "Straight line" radio button above the map. You can also select that routing mode using the menu on the upper left corner on the map.

You can switch the routing mode at any time while creating a route.
