On the map for Vancouver, BC I can't plot a route along SW Marine Drive west of Granville Street. No problem east of Granville but as soon as I try west it sends my all over the place. I tried to go from Adera St one block west and it showed a route that was over a mile long which crossed back over Marine Dr.

Map Pedometer uses Google Maps to create routes along roads and trails. If Google Maps does not correctly create a route along a road, selecting a different route option will help you solve the problem:
  • Some of the route options may have restrictions on the travel direction. For instance, selecting the "Drive" or "Cycle" option will attempt to prevent you from traveling the wrong way on a one way street.
  • If you are running or walking, select the Run/Walk option.
  • If the automatic route generation doesn't work for a particular street, zoom in to the area of interest, select the "Straight line" option, and then click your mouse to create your route. Once you are past the area which is causing problems, switch back to one of the automatic route generation options.
You can freely switch between the different modes while creating your route.
