I have run into a mapping error in Toronto. Windermere Ave. continues south from The Queensway under two bridges to Lakeshore Ave. The bridges are quite wide, one a railroad bridge and the other the Gardener Expressway. Map Pedometer will not let me walk under the bridges even though it is very safe with sidewalks on either side of the road.

Toronto map error
Re: Toronto map error - Routing options
If you are using the "Run/Walk" mapping mode and can't create a route under the bridge, then Google Maps does not have routing information for that path. You can work around this issue. Create your route up until the bridge using the "Run/Walk" routing method. Switch the routing method to "Straight Line" and create a route segment through the bridge by clicking on the opposite side of the bridge. Then switch your routing method back to "Run/Walk" and continue creating your route. You can freely switch between routing methods while creating your route.
