duplicating or partial reversal of routes

Post by bikeguy »

Our group bikes a lot. The old version of pedometer permitted duplicating or partial reversal of portions of the route (for example riding to the end of a cul-de-sac and then back out). The new program seems not to permit placing a continuing route marker on an already used portion of the route. This change makes the new program almost unusable for most of the favorite streets we like to ride (we do a lot of loop rides that are not a pure reverse of the entire route but to reverse direction on roads close to the beginning and end of the ride). Am I overlooking something or is there a need to permit using portions of the route repeatedly?

For now, double clicking directly on the route line does not work properly. To work around this issue, double click right next to the line. The newly added route line will be automatically moved to the closest road. Also, you can modify last point marker by dragging the marker to a new location. To drag the marker, click on the last point marker, hold down the mouse button, and slide the marker to a new location. This feature allows you to fine tune the marker position. The problem you reported will be fixed in the near future.
