This route is a clockwise loop along Rim Drive around Crater Lake in southern Oregon. Somewhere between miles 3 and 5 the elevation graph momentarily reaches sea level. Looks like some kind of data problem. When I traced my own route around the lake starting at Park HQ, I saw the same thing happen in the same place. Any idea what's going on with that and if there's a way to avoid it? The zero-foot data point makes the elevation graph look deceptively flat.

Our elevation provider is missing data for a portion of your route. We will contact our provider to see if they can add the missing elevation data to their database.

We are considering the addition of a feature which would allow users to download the individual elevation points. With that feature, users would be able to create their own graphs. For your map route, you would be able to remove the points with missing elevation data and see a more useful graph.
